Policies

Exchange/Up gradation Policy :

• Diamond Jewellery can be exchange/upgraded within 15 days from the date of initial purchase at original invoice value.
• After 15 days till 3 months of initial purchase, product will be exchanged / upgraded at the price which 90% of the original invoice price.
• After 3 months of initial purchase, product will be exchanged / upgraded at the price which is 80% of the original invoice price.

Bridal & Solitaire Collection :

• Can be exchange/upgraded within 30 days from the date of initial purchase at 90% of the original invoice price. After 30 days of initial purchase, product will be exchanges/upgraded at 80% of the original invoice price.

Repairs and Servicing Policy :

• Incase of diamond &/or stone falling within six months of initial purchase due to manufacturing defect, as certified by our Quality Control department, the diamond would be replaced free of cost. No complaint for manufacturing fault would be entertained after completion of six months of initial purchase.
• Incase of diamond &/or stone falling not due to manufacturing defect, the cost of diamond replacement would be intimated to customer. Once the customer agrees to pay the same in writing, diamond would be replaced.
• If any defect found within 15 days of initial purchase, the same would have to be returned back to the corporate office. After inspection by the Quality Control department the same would be repaired free of cost. No complaint will be entertained after 15 days of initial purchase.
• Any damaged product can be repaired on request, and the same will be charged as per the repair cost assessed by our QC Department.
• Every product will be entitled for free lifetime cleaning and polishing. However, the cost of courier and handling charges will be applicable, on actual.

Buy Back Policy:

• Every original Nakshatra product is entitled for buy back at the price which is 80% of the original invoiced price.
• Products purchased or gifted or won under any schemes or contests shall be bought back at the price which is 60% of original invoice price.

General Terms & Conditions

• Every product to be exchanged / upgraded or bought back will be first sent to diamond grading laboratory for certifying and verification of authenticity of the diamonds.
• The original bill / invoice and diamond grading certificate should be produced / submitted at the time of exchange / buyback, repair etc. In case of diamond grading certificate not produced / submitted Rs.500 will charged extra for every product.
• For exchange / upgradation/ buyback the product will be handed over to the company against receipt for a minimum of 14 days towards verification. Product will be exchanged / upgraded / bought back only after it is duly checked, verified and confirmed by company's Quality Control department.
• Customer can exchange / upgrade product purchased with any other Nakshatra products. The value of new product should be equal or more than the exchange value of the initial product.
• In case of upgradation customer will have to pay the difference in price at which initially purchased product is taken back by the company and the price of product to be purchased.
• Customer can exchange product, for the exchange value or buyback value with a credit note / voucher of equal value, issued by Nakshatra, which can be utilized for purchasing any Nakshatra product, within six months, at the location therein. Credit notes / vouchers will be issued within 14 days of the request made.
• If the initially purchased product is damaged then the value at which the product will be taken back by the company will be intimated to the customer within 14 days of the request made.
• Any such new transaction will be processed only after customer gives consent in writing, for exchange value of initially purchased product.
• Any product purchased can be exchanged, once only. Any product taken in an exchange will not be re-exchanged.
• Any scheme running at the time when initial product was purchased would not be applicable on exchange.
• Any scheme running at the time of exchange etc. would not be applicable on exchange.
• Any disputes arising would be under the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in Mumbai only.
• No damaged product will be exchanged.
• The exchange / upgradation facility is not available for Vivaah and Solitaire collection of Nakshatra product.
• The policies are subject to change without any prior intimation.

Insurance Policy :

• All correspondence, communication etc. in respect of claim is to be made directly by the customer with the insurance company.
• Brightest Circle Jewellery Ltd. Is no way responsible for any liability arising following losses :

Definition of Family :
Spouse, children & parents staying with the purchaser.

Risks Covered :
Burglary Cover, Fire and Allied Perils Cover, Accidental Damage Cover, Larceny, House Breaking, Robbery Cover.

Any other risks :
Hold-up & Riots Transit Risks

Validity Cover :
One year of the date of purchase. Goods which sent by BCJL within policy period & No. should be mentioned in issued by Gemological Institute in certificate, goods should be sold within three years from the date the issued by BCJL.

Losses covered :
From the person (incl. the immediate family as defined) or from the premises of the purchaser.

Limit per Single :
Rs.5,00,000/- (per single item)

Limit per Person :
Rs. 10,00,000/- (per set)

Deductible :
5% of the claim amount subject to minimum of Rs 500/-.

Additional Exclusions :
Mysterious Disappearance, Gross Negligence Infidelity

Additional Condition :
Condition Pit & Set Clause.

Documentation :
Master policy will be issued in the name of the M/S. Brightest Circle Jewellery Ltd.

Declaration :
Monthly declaration giving the purchaser, product bill details as per agreed format.
